About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Isn't this impossible?

ABOUT ME

As I’ve aged I’ve noticed that I’ve grown more content with myself. I’ve also noticed that, generally speaking, I’m a happy person. People can be quite enjoyable; observing them,; getting to know them; and learning what things excite, distress, or interest them.

I’m easy going and (maybe out of ignorance?) I tend to smile a lot. I can usually be found in my favorite coffeehouse (I’m an accomplished people-watcher) or riding my bike. I’m a very social person and fairly outgoing, but I also enjoy my alone-time.

In the past few years I’ve started dancing, dancing with friends in parks. We call it Dork Dancing, where we move in a way that feels good, and hopefully in a way that feels uninhibited.

Sometimes I talk too much; other times I talk too little.

PHILOSOPHY

Live simply, that others may simply live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed in London and Paris and had a great CS experience in both cities -- far better than I ever expected!

I hosted a great guy a while back and have gotten together with several other surfers for meals and coffee. A few have become good friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few times now and thought it was a lot of fun. I plan to continue.

Interests

I love exploring the back streets of cities, and in those cities that I visited, I have seen many more back streets than I have monuments. Not as excited about the sights that I'm "suppose to see".

Coffee with friends (or a friendly stranger), ART, and getting in trouble.
