I consider myself a traveler every day whether at home or on the road. Each day I meet someone new and do something different and so continue my journey in life. I am in the medical field and get to work helping people daily. I can't picture a more satisfying job.

I participate in the CS Project as a verified member; willing to share myself and my home with the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined Couchsurfing to meet people and share experiences although I am a veteran at couchsurfing with my extended family. The best trips are to meet new friends and build relationships. I couchsurfed in my teens without really realizing what it would later be called.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 15, my family rode a bunch of small motorcycles (250cc, 350cc) from Oregon to South Dakota and back. We were like our own little biker gang :-) I have driven coast to coast across the United States several times. I lived in a RV 5th wheel for over four years and worked as a traveling nurse on all 3 coasts (West, Gulf, East).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach motorcycle riding, home repairs, drive an RV, medical English, CPR and advanced-life saving as well as general nursing skills. I would like to learn how to make cheese, work with bees, make beer and other drink, and how to cook like a local. I would love to share great adventures, great food and drink, wonderful conversation!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my love for travel and experiences. I like to explore and would enjoy sharing hikes, new food and drink. I would like to share cooking with my hosts and surfers. I enjoy food of many cuisines and would like to learn techniques of cooking. I can share my knowledge of American medical practice and terminology and would love to spend time with other medical professionals so that I may learn how medicine is practiced in their countries. I am pretty good at home repair projects.
