About Me

ABOUT ME

I am an English teacher in South Korea. I am here to open myself up to new experiences and to see as much of the world as I can. I'll try anything twice.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll try anything twice.

I'm always looking to find the good in myself and the world around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch...but if you want a sleeping bag/floor space in my studio apartment in a po-dunk Korean town I'd be glad to host you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I created this profile while I was studying abroad in Australia...Now that I'm travelling again it is useful so I'm back. Looking to meet people nearby and where I'm travelling to! :)

Interests

Music & Live Concerts especially. Having discussions with people that go further than "How are you?" "I'm fine thank you, and you?" Turning strangers into friends. Writing about stuff. Adventures. Trying new things. Travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied abroad in Fremantle, which was an amazing experience. I've been up to Broome to camp out with Aborigines for a week and it was the most eye-opening experience of my time here. Another experience I will never forget is roadtripping to Pemberton and Manjimup and being taken in with locals for the night...Australia has opened my eyes to the hospitality of others and I would love to go back
