Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just got selected for a research internship at NTU in Singapore. So I'm looking for someone to hangout with and crash with and to generally get a feeling about Singapore and it's very very vibrant culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really don't know how to categorize my taste in music haha. I generally listen to anything EXCEPT pop songs.
I really love Song of Ice and Fire, LoTR and Harry Potter
About movies.... my favourite is The Gladiator. Slumdog Millionaire is somewhere near my top 3. And The Secret in their Eyes, a spanish language movie I watched recently and fell in love with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So I've said above that I went volunteering in Europe right? So specifically I went to teach in suburban high schools in Poznan - a province of Poland. So my assignment was basically to do lessons for high school kids aged 15-17 and I went prepared to do that. But I got a surprise assignment to teach kids at a Visual and Auditory Disability School. I was so lost! I did not know what to do... but I like challenges so I went in head first. It turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. The kids were so amazed to have me and were very very attentive to what I had to say! And I had to find new ways to express myself!
So yeah that's my amazing experience. It's not mindblowing haha but it certainly one memory I really cherish.
