ABOUT ME

Hi friends! We're Duller Colors, a three-piece band from the Western suburbs of Chicago. We're all in our mid-twenties, all social drinkers and two cigarette smokers (who feel properly ashamed about it and in no way expect anyone to want to host their smoke as well). We occasionally embark upon mini-tours of the Midwest and prefer the ease, enjoyment, and economy of couch-surfing over hotel-hopping. We're polite, well-spoken, and always have good beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far we've only spent two evenings as couch-surfers and they were about a year ago, though both experiences went swimmingly well. A friend who was along for the ride on one of our tours is a member of this fine couch-surfing community and arranged the whole thing for us. Now we want to be able to participate on our own without asking him to be our travel planner every time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a band we went on our first mini-tour in March of 2012, and one of our non-bandmate companions made arrangements for us through this site to stay at a very friendly home in Bloomington, IN, and another the next night in Grand Rapids, MI. We had a great time, and are looking to do the same thing this year!
