About Me

First things first: please msg me at least 1-2 weeks in advance, this increases your chances for a couch by 100%, thank you!
EDIT: alright guys since I still get so many short-notice requests I will stop replying to them, soz!

About me, hum. About me's are tough, you can easily kill a couple hours trying to write a killer about me just to realise how stupid and pretentious you sound. So yeah, i hope i don't.
I grew up in Vienna and it's a beautiful and historic city but i feel quite lost here. I miss the beaches of Croatia (where part of my origins are) and the woods of Bosnia (the other part of my origins). I used to spend all my summer and winter breaks in either Bosnia or Croatia so i feel like I grew up in all of the three places. Because of that i don't really identify myself with either of those so I'm still on the lookout for a place I want to live in. So there's the reason why I'm on couchsurfing. I wanna see as many places as possible and get to know aaaall the cultures so I can decide where I want to make myself a home at some point.
Couchsurfing just gives you the right platform to start off. There are heaps of people out there and this just gives you so many opportunities in discovering and meeting them all.

My personal philosophy is to be just. Being treated unfairly or unjust is the thing I despise the most, i have a high moral standard which i try (and not always succeed) to live up to. I try to treat everyone with the same respect no matter where they come from or what they do, because everyone has something to share and I am willing to listen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people obviously!

Interests

My main interest is (i think you could've guessed it) travelling.
So when I'm in Vienna I spend most of my time studying and working so I can make the time and money to go abroad for a while again.
I love my studies.. Pharmaceutical Sciences combines biology, chemistry, medicine and physics in a unique way. I think i would be bored if I just studied one of the above listed since I would get lost in all the details and might probably get bored at one point. So the studies are perfect for me, I know a lot about all the subjects i'm interested in with enough depth on exactly the things i want. I do not see myself working in the Pharmaceutical Industry though, I do not believe this is the path I want to follow.. but hey, time will tell what I'll end up doing :)
My other -non course related- interests are yoga (been an Ashtanga Student for a year and before I practised Bikram Yoga) and drawing.
Oh and I love cooking! And riding my bike! And reading!

I can share my yoga practice, I've been practising Ashtanga Yoga for a year now and enjoy it a lot.
