About Me

Canadian/Italian/Whatever, living in NYC! Likes fun outdoor activities, fun people, fun drinks...see a pattern emerging?

As long as there's good company and energy, I'm happy to try pretty much anything. Sight seeing, beaches, bar games, hiking, board games, weird international traditions, new kinds of food, new kinds of languages...bring it on!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ideally would love to travel much, much more and meet cool new people from all sorts of places across the globe. IF it's possible for a guy to couch-surf, so far it looks tricky at best.

If it is or isn't, I still plan on traveling to some pretty awesome places and finding equally awesome individuals to share a few laughs and good times with.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most anything by Stephen King, George R. R. Martin, Tolkien, Joe Abercrombie, plus Ken Follett, Margaret Atwood, and recently some Hemingway just to make sure I broaden my horizons a titch.

For Music? Most anything. Daft Punk, Beatles, Gunther, you name it.

For movies? Power Rangers. Because...Power Rangers. Enough said.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Road trip across pretty much ALL of USA. Was pretty freaking cool, actually wish I'd had even more time to really enjoy each and every city.

Also set myself up as captain for three different sports teams (Soccer and Volleyball) during university, because I really like to get involved in fun / physical activities and make sure I pitch in to set things up too.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure if I'm wise enough to teach anyone much of anything. "Do unto others" comes to mind?

Try everything at least once, be nice, learn how to cook one or two REALLY good meals and worry about money once you hit 40.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Here's what you actually want to hear: I'm fun, yet harmless. No, really. I really enjoy hanging out with fun-loving, outgoing people and doing new things, seeing new places, all of that, but I never cause any trouble.

Under no circumstances would I want to make myself a burden to others (that includes making sure I'm clean, polite and ready to cook some insanely good nachos and chocolate chip cookies for my hosts), so I do my level best to be both fun to have around and good company.
