Overview
About Me
French Canadian, easy going and with quite the penchant for Europe (especially Northern). In the past years I have visited a few northern countries and lived in Sweden and found it all extraordinary. While living in Sweden I enjoyed the proximity it gave me to the rest of the continent and had the chance to visit so many different places and cultures (kind of a big deal when you're coming from Canada, I tell you).
I am now travelling in Sweden on my own for visiting friends for their wedding and will visit a bit of the country at the same time.
My current address is in Montréal however it has not yet been confirmed through CS (through a process which I was told takes 4-6 weeks).
I do not smoke/do drugs. Very pet friendly. Native French speaker, pretty okay Swedish too (subjective).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Surprisingly, I've never actually couchsurfed through all my travels, at least through the website. I was blessed enough to make great friends over the years who conveniently are spread all over Europe. I did for a short while live with someone who was hosting. It was my first experience related to couchsurfing and where I got to know about it. I immediately fell in love with the concept but never had a chance to jump in.
Now I am travelling Europe again and it seems like a perfect opportunity to give in. I will be looking forward meeting people and finding places and events to visit as well as couches to surf on.
I am also more keen on staying at the same place for a longer while, since I find it a more relaxed and enjoyable way to discover the culture. To an extent, it gives you more the feeling of living there as opposed to being a passing tourist. Because of that, I ended up staying a few months in 2015 in Germany through the WorkAway platform.

Well I could definitely use some help here.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, one day I said I'd go live and study in Sweden. And so, did. Then a summer later, I thought it'd be fun to herd alpacas in Germany. And so, I did!
I also worked at the Lake Agnes Teahouse, above Lake Louise, AB, honestly one of the most amazing place Canada has to offer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to try and learn a variety of skills and I am quite eager to discover more everyday.
I believe that everything can fixed. I think I got fairly good when it comes to fixing electronics and so I'll be more than happy to share what I know.
There are just so many subjects that are interesting and worth sharing. Languages, dancing, cultural differences & behavior, playing an instrument, different ways to make coffee, brew your own beer, how to take pictures, how to travel, tasting beer, etc. There's just an infinite amount of life skills to develop.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Being an electrical engineer and knowing a bit my way around modern technology, I've been known to fix things around houses that were kind enough to host me. I will be more than happy to share my knowledge and ease some of your troubles.
