Hello the world, we are a family with two kids, 11 and 10 years old. We live in Dongguan city Guangdong province, it is a city between Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and near Hongkong. The traffic to come here is very easy.

We live in the countryside but near the downtowm of DongGuan city, about 3 km away from the downtown of the city. I can go to the Metro station to pick up you. People in my village are very kind, there are some very traditional temples and houses in my village too, if you are interesting, I can show you.

The village we live in is next to the Peal River, it the mother river of Guangdong province. Along the river, it's a very nice park, you can take a very nice hike along the river and you can see many many nice people enjoy hiking there too.

We are very kind people with lots of dreams, and very easy to get along with. The popurse to join Helpx not only asking for help but also make friends with the people who come from all over the world and help each other to know more about different culture. If you like, I can show you around my village and tell you the history and culture, customs and history about my village and DongGuan city. Me and my husband and my kids are not very good at English but our English is fluent, I think with the help of body language, we can understand each other very well.

The most help we need as following:
1. Painting. We want to paint some amazing pictures on the walls of the rooms, we have no idea what to paint, but we want to try something new, we can discuss together.
2. To be a part of our family to share skills together, no matter what kind of skills, to make the life interesting.
3. To do the house work together, like mopping floor, washing dishes.
4. Design some games for the children. Some times we invite some freinds to my home to enjoy the weekend or holidays.

Family with children, vegetarian and vegan are welcome too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world is very big and very colorful, we want to know it. We think couchsurfing is a very good platform to know the world.

I like any happy songs, KongFu Panda and Turble are my favorite movies, I like reading lots of kinds of books, such as story, history, education, science, photoes and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2001, I and my husband studied in the same university in Harbin in northeast of China. In this summer holiday, we rode bicycles from our university to my home Dongguan city, the trip was about more than 4000 kilometers and we made it! It costed about 40 days, it is an amazing trip!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a teacher, if you are interesting, I not only can teach you the Chinese languages but also to tell you something about Chinese culture and custom and so on. I like cooking, I can teach you to cook some Chinese food too. We love travelling, maybe we can give you some suggestion about your Chinese trip.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a hard work people, I can take care of children, work in the garden, doing house work, cooking, doing farm work and so on. Although some works is my first time to do it but I think I can learn it very fast.
