Hello,

I am a 28 year old easy going guy from Aptos, California. I was born in the UK and moved to the USA when I was 7. I've loved traveling my whole life and am setting up this profile to help me get around Europe this summer as well as hopefully aid in future travel adventures.

I currently work full-time as a musician. I play guitar, bass, and sing; perform with several bands; and teach private lessons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am spending the summer (mid June 15th to mid September) in Europe visiting family and friends. I have a few friends dotted around Europe, but it would be great to have some other places to stay in new places and to meet some new friends along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love old school jazz from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, Classic Rock 'n Roll, Funk, Old School RnB and Motown, Classical Guitar, Indie Music, Hip Hop, and Soul. Movies are hard, I try to stay away from too much screen time* as I prefer being outside, but some favorites are: Gosford Park, Lord of the Rings, and Monty Python. I also watch some TV shows like: John Oliver, Silicon Valley, Westworld, Toast of London, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and Seinfeld. I have a huge pile of books growing next to my bed, but unfortunately don't find much time to read at the moment, right now I spend more time reading music.

*Disclaimer: I have spent an inordinate amount of time watching the world cup over the past week.
