About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find a home. Alas, i have been jumping from town to town, job to job trying new places, I am currently in the mindset that i would very much like to start looking for a place to settle. A place to call home. A place to build or build on and set roots

ABOUT ME

I am always on the go, it takes a lot to beat me into submission. I like to be out and about where ever and when ever possible. Meeting strangers comes easy so i almost make a hobby of it. I never tire of listening to people of a different or similar walk of life give there opinion. We all have one.

PHILOSOPHY

"Don't let the highs get to high or the lows get to low. " (my dad)

"Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story. "
(max ehrmann)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Though i am usually the one looking for a place to stay or people to meet. I will always offer up a ride where i can. If i have a spare place to sleep. People are always welcome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This last weekend ( dec 6, 2013 ) was my first real experience with couch surfing. I have met people before but. I met a very sweet girl who wanted to go on a weekend trip and had a couch to stay on but needed a vehicle. I had a vehicle and needed the company. It was wonderful. She was polite and pleasant and the host was an amazing human being. I had my reservations going into the trip but it could not have been a more splendid experience.

Interests

Traveling Canada or farther on my motorcycle. Would love to work all over the world. Camping, Canoeing, Hiking. I am a very much a need to be moving, kind of person. i try hard not to waste the days i have been given.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, and books but have never been one to spout off artist, authors, or titles. I just enjoy what comes my way and try to learn the lessons within.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The year 2013 was quite memorable. Between taking up scuba diving in a more serious way, wandering absolutely aimlessly through Central America, Landing a Job in a Klondike Gold mine and meeting the most amazing people along the way and that that doesn't even scratch the surface or the year or years before. There have been some incredible outdoor trips, 100+km hikes. 700+km canoe trips. Dog sled racing and kennel managing. Snow shoe races upwards of 50km. Road trips stretching over 6000km that were born over night. Laying on a beach in Panama Watching at meteor shower with complete strangers. The simple fact that i am still alive to tell stories and hear stories amazes me most days.

What I Can Share with Hosts

This is where i lack in offering, Summer months are spent living in my trailer a long ways out of the way in the klondike gold fields, in the winter i tend to just work a set schedule and travel on my days off. 3 weeks off in the spring and fall and summer... as i stated above i try to post for rides as i travel but not having a home makes it hard to offer much more then that.
