ABOUT ME

They will say that they can always have a laugh with me and spend some nice time dancing, making music, cycling, talking in the park or in my kitchen after I cooked some delicious bacalhau. Thats me in a nutshell actually: easy-going, good listener, patient (yes you need lots of patience to prepare and cook bacalhau) and somewhat talented hobby musician and groove lover!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't save on smiles and laughs, you will remember those forever and also get wonderful muscle on your cheeks and abs :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

had my first experience in London and it was great fun!!! lots of different people coming together and sharing their lives and interests!

Interests

Rhythm makes everything engaging and not only in music. Everyone and every place has its own rhythm and it one of the most fulfilling tasks to be able to become aware of them and adapt. In the past few years I have had to adapt to different environments and really enjoyed that experience. Now I spend my time between band practice, occasional capoeira training, drumming for african dance classes and teaching german for all of those who come to Berlin and really want to adapt to the daily reality of this ever growing capital of coolness.

the grapes of wrath, on the road, as confissoes da leoa, as intermitencias da morte, capitaes de areia e tenda dos milagres, heart of darkness...

Music: percussion, soul, funk, hip-hop, samba, bossa-nova, forró, balkan, jazz...from the desert of Mali to the dry interior of Brazil to the basements of Berlin and the burroughs of NY, the shacks in Cabo Verde and the hills of Lisbon. It is hard to define what i like the most...my music folder shows just that :)
