About Me

Hi, you can call me Oscar. I’m an open-minded person, so we can talk about literally everything. I love hiking, backpacking, and exploring places to see the world. The nature is my friend.

At the moment, I cannot offer my couch to anyone due to my staying in a dormitory at my university and the room is very small. I'm sorry in advance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A meaningful conversations with someone can always lead to exciting and amazing knowledge and experiences which can be transferred. I'm always up to learning new things everyday and I'm also down to sit back and talk to anyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I generally listen Indie, Folk, and Jazz, but I listen to everything because I also write and produce songs. I think that writing song or performing any type of art is a way to express myself or to raise my opinion about something without explicitly stating it.

For books, I haven't read much because I wasn't much into books until lately. So, if I would name my favorites, they shall be Into the wild, Fahrenheit 451, The life we bury, Da Vinci Code (I finished 300 pages in one night), and one book that I forgot the name for some reasons.

For movies, I'm also fascinated with cinematography, so watching movie analysis and movies are my go-to free-time thing. My favorites are Three Idiots (Bollywood), Gone Girl, The Prestige, Logan, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Zodiac, and The Shining, and many many many more. My favorite directors are David Fincher, Stanley Kubrick, and Christopher Nolan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are lots that I have done, but here's a little space where I can brag a little bit about myself, so why not?
- I have stood on the snow while barefooted during the winter in Maine. It was just for a sake of a photo.
- I have written a screenplay and directed its movie within a course of 2 months with my friends. The movie is about 40 minutes long.

Teach, Learn, Share

I cannot really say what I can offer, but I believe that there's something in everyone that they can offer. I'm still young and inexperienced, so I would love to learn more and more everyday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to share the cultures and experiences through conversations.
