ABOUT ME

I was born in Curaçao by a dutch father and a scottish mother . Three months later , moved to Holland . At nine moved to the Cotswolds in England . Moved here when 23 years old . Haven't moved since , 35 years .Read a lot of S.F and some Fantasy . Some books by Chomsky , Toynbee and others .Don't like most "rapp , disco or techno " .Having more free time now , would like to meet new people .Not interested in sport etc .

PHILOSOPHY

Respect , and a quiet life . Help if I can . One or two weeks , before I need My solitude again .

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A room , with three beds , hot and cold running water , share food and cooking , some independence is required , not very social like in going out . The "sticks" , almost isolated . Good for walking , reading ,listening to music and resting . Have to like a noisy dog .Share house and an old , slow computer .

Going through American TV series , Weeds ( not really sure , pisses me off often ) Dexter ( like it sometimes ) , Game of Thrones , The Wire ( really good ) Bones and Castle (relaxing ) . Films for relaxing , no social comments ( I allready know ) . Music , for example , Gratefull Dead or Airplane , but many others , Jazz and Classical amongst them . Books , I read and reread all the time . Don't like libraries as you have to give the good books back .

What is amazing ? The Boiling Lake in the Dominican Republique . Stay long enough and the people are really nice and caring .

I have no idee what I can teach , strimmer , chain saw , some gardening , need to learn computer use , languages , my german is now very bad , never managed scandinavian languages . Share idees .
