About Me

'feel free and dreams can become reality for moments'

My name is dunja and I'm from hamburg, the second largest city of Germany.
I am working as a breath, speech and voice teacher and I love taking a walk in the nature, enjoying wildlife, fire, plants, wind, the moon and the stars.
I prefer to hang out without a watch around my wrist.
I love cooking for community dinners!
And I'm interested in deep talks :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is the best way to avoid touristy places and to discover everyday lives in a foreign country. I'm not interested in sightseeing but in people's lives and their concerns.
I think it's impressive that you can always find home, all around the globe!

My only CS experience so far is surfing in Israel and I was impressed by the openness and trust people had from the very beginning. 'Feel at home' was not just a saying but an unconditional invitation to their homes - this felt warm and simply natural.

Interests

I love having deep conversation over good food in a cozy atmosphere - or in tiny, dirty pubs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am incredibly bad with names but let's give it a try:

Movies: into the wild, marley, city of god, soul kitchen, geh und lebe, lion,..
Music: reggae, oldschool ska, goa, rocksteady, electro, psyfi, oriental music.
Books: the alchimist, momo, the little prince, krishnamurti,Der unsichtbare Apfel

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving a concert for family and friends in a small pub was in fact one of the most beautiful moments in my life. Only a few month later, I hiked up a Galilee hill with 208 goats, and I took a lesson in playing Saz (an instrument from Turkey) in the outdoors with birds twittering all around us under the Israeli morning sun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to breath into your legs.
I want to learn speaking hebrew fluently and to play many oriental instruments.
We can practice Vipassana together, or bake a bread.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Breath and voice training.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
