About Me

Hi! I am a 20 year old student in my 3rd of university. I normally live and study in Canada, but this semester I came to Paris to do a semester abroad at Sciences Po. I am an easy going, fun and respectful person who loves to meet new people. I want to travel around Europe while I can. (Canada is a little far from it all :( ) Looking forward to meeting you and hearing about your life story! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Hiking Macchu Picchu at 4 am in the morning and watch the sun rise inside the ruins after having reached it at 6.30 am
* White water rafting in the Urubamba river and zip lining in the Andes mountains
* Visiting the floating islands of Uros, where the islanders create the island they live on, as well as the boats they use to travel to mainland, from reeds
* Staying with a local family in the Amantani island in Lake Titicaca where people live pre-industrial lives

Teach, Learn, Share

My favourite quote is "Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today" - a classic by James Dean but it perfectly encapsulates my life philosophy. I like to constantly challenge myself with new adventures, it simply replenishes my soul and gives me more joy than any other thing in life - which is why I love travelling so much. My ultimate goal and desire is to travel most of the world, which I think was foreshadowed by my mother when she named me "dunya". (it means world in turkish, hindi, persian and arabic)

What I Can Share with Hosts

* Interesting conversations
* A bottle of good wine
* If you ever come to Montreal or Istanbul when I am in either of those cities (contact can be kept via facebook), I will welcome you with an open heart - I am currently living with a host family in Paris so I unfortunately can't have guests at the moment
