About Me

Last updated 15 February 2023

I‘m out of town and can‘t host until mid April 2023!

Otherwise you are always welcome to stay with me and explore a bit of Heidelberg. The town is really beautiful but be aware that it may be overrun by tourists in summers…

But enough about Heidelberg for now! I will tell you more about it when you ask :) Let me introduce myself until then:

My motivation, my spirit and my energy are other people. When I travel I do it to discover more of the beauty of (wo)mankind. I love the interaction with other people, the learning, the differences and discussion and of course just to feel other people‘s vibes and energy. I love to explore everything about a place: the things that are supposed to be shown to tourists, the things that tend to remain hidden, I want to see how a city wakes up and goes to sleep, people‘s faces in the morning when they have breakfast, their talks during lunch and the rhythms of their evening routines. For me travelling is not just about seeing a place but rather about living and feeling it. I enjoy deep talks and am fascinated by literature and philosophy but I also like to party and go out. Architecture is very impressive to me but I enjoy it more when I have the opportunity to join a good guided tour that links it to the history and culture of a place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is no other way to experience a place the way you do, when you stay with people who live there. Everyone has his very own culture to offer. It's time to learn as much from it as possible. And of course, I would love to show you the places I would call my home as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer books over movies, especially Frank Schätzing’s “The Swarm” and Büchner’s Danton’s Tod but I will also enjoy a good movie with you 📚📽️🍿

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and may teach you some of the languages I know or learn. I am always happy to help you out at home or cook for you or just share my thoughts 💭
