We are two girls from Iceland that are traveling in Eastern Europe the summer 2011. Our names are Inga and Hofi. We are hoping to experience different cultures not only with the eyes of the tourist. We are outgoing, open minded and looking for unforgettable memories.

We are independent and a bit of a dreamers. We like the unknown!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a great experience of couch surfing in Norway last summer and decided to do it again!

Interests

We like outdoor activities like hiking, sea-swimming, skiing, fishing, camping, mountaineering, cycling, experiencing the nature, volcano hiking and everything ash-related. We also like cooking, concerts and siting outside in a park, having a icecold beer.

We love to teach people how to say Eyjafjallajökull and show them the arts of Icelandic culture, like music, alcohol, literature and other things.

We also like to try new things like trying different foods, extreme sports, new languages and so on.

We love to meet new people, specially active people and those who are not afraid to step out of their comfort zone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking on erupting volcano at Fimmvöðruháls (the one that got Eyjafjallajökull started) in Iceland one year ago. Even got rescued by a helicopter!
