Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
To have the best of times with people I encounter and become an amazing programmer.
ABOUT ME
So I love anything that is wacky and fun and interesting and beautiful. My main way of expressing myself is through computers. I use them to create programs, music and art. I have always been fascinated by technology and the power and potential it represents for the individual. I also love reading science fiction and playing computer games.
I am an avid festival goer. I'm particularily into electronic music and mind-expanding type of festivals like Burnig Man and Ozora but I certainly wouldn't pass up on the occasional rock gig. I DJ every once in a while for kicks and giggles, but not on a professional level. My favorite genres to play are french electronic music, glitch hop, funky house and deep house.
Other than that I try to make the best of life at all times. Eating good food and drink amazing wine and beer and having super interesting conversations with people are really important to me.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't be stupid! Humans rule!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Offer couch when available, which is not that often because I move around a lot. I surf here and there, but mostly through friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Everyone I have met through couchsurfing have been amazing people and they have changed my life for the better.
Two guys from Portland once couchsurfed at my friend's house for the world beard and moustache competition. We became instant friends partyed all night and went to burning man together. I was originally trying to go to Japan for an exchange year but ended up moving in with them in the US instead. I started working as a software developer for their business Float On, which rents out sensory deprivation tanks. In the end I had amazing new friends, a job that I love, lots of experience and a great story to tell.

Música, películas y libros
Books. A mix of fact and fiction.
Cradle to Cradle - this one really changed the way I look at materials and the world around me, Mr Vertigo, Doors of Perception, 1984, Animal Farm, Snow Crash, Brave New World, Punk Shui (amusing. don't take take it literally though), Gods Dice Game - currently reading this which really explains the concept of entropy and what it means for our future, The Dark Tower, The Fifth Discipline - incredibly cohesive way to look at a large range of problems.
Movies. Some of my all time favorites.
Save the Green Planet, Clerks, Attack the Block, Kim's Island, Zelig, Rear Window, Being There, Fish Story, Super, Battle Royale, Four Lions, Enemy of the State, Dead Snow, Hot Fuzz, Getsuyobi, Up, Django, The first Matrix, Rubber, Cabin in the Woods, Safety Not Guaranteed, Run Lola Run, Equilibrium.
Music. The genres I like the most. There's just so much good music out there.
French electronic music, chillout, funk, glitch hop, funky house, old brass band jazz, mellow instrumental hiphop, experimental hiphop, tech house and minimal, deephouse, progressive house, 60's hippie rock music, hard rock, stoner rock, ambient, 80's retro, psytrance, some dnb and deep.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Created my own game.
Met Nobuo Uematsu, creator of the Final Fantasy game music during 'Play', a live orchestra concert by the biggest names in game music.
Being among the 100 000 people watching Turbonegro play live for free on the day of music in Oslo.
Tokyo at night.
Shpongle live.
Burning man.
Floated in a sensory deprivation tank or float tank as they are more popularily called.
Grew a huge handlebar moustache.
The world naked bike ride in Portland Oregon.
The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, live orchestra zelda game music concert in Portland Oregon. I had to build a tool that monitored the ticket site for new ticket releases when they were sold out and send me an alert email when new ones were released. It worked. It was worth it.
DJed in my underwear.
Supported the kickstarter for Armikrog, a new game in the Neverhood series which is a game entirely made by clay. One of the most amazing works of art in the history of mankind.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can teach you about programming, DJing, cooking, photoshopping your face onto the body of a deer highfiving a whale on top of the eiffel tower. In general, I'm really good with computers. I can point you in the right direction for most computer related stuff.
