I'm a regular guy who grew up in a small town in Bosnia. Being surrounded by mountains, hills and forests gave me an opportunity to explore, move through the wilderness, and learn things a bit differently. Simultaneously I went to high school and university in the field of Visual arts. After I also started working as a UI/UX designer, which defined my life as mostly digital in front of a screen, sitting. That's where the great outdoors made a huge contrast and amazing balance in my life. Today I enjoy almost all of my free time being adventures, Exploring, hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, anything that makes me feel alive, and helps me to experience the world around me. Additionally, I joined a local mountain rescue service as a volunteer to learn and to be able to give back to my community. Wilderness enriches my spiritual life and helps me find meaning. Having people I love around me, meeting new people that teach me a thing or two about life, and experiencing the world differently is everything that keeps me moving.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to experience a place is to wander on foot. Another thing is to learn from the locals and get the information first hand is a treasure. We are fortunate to have this community with people who think alike, and who are willing to help, to support, learn, to meet, and experience the world outside their comfort zone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly listen to rock music, indie rock, with a side of metal, and additional mixed genres depending on the situation and emotional state. Love outdoor festivals and unusual experiences. Love adventure movies, cartoons, and movies that make me feel hyped in the end. I'm not really a reader, but I'm trying my best to start reading more and expanding my knowledge.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent almost a whole summer wandering around rivers, lakes, mountains, camping, and experiencing a different life than I normally have. That changed my whole perspective on life and created a person that I love and understand.

I'm open to learning new and different things, learning about other cultures, DIY things, healthy habits, psychology, or whatever is out of my comfort zone. Also, I enjoy speaking about the things I know and that may be interesting to someone.
