About Me

Hello ... I'm now 35 and originally from Los Angeles, California. My career background is in hospitality, sales and tech. I've developed two businesses I'm incredibly passionate about. Both primarily focused in providing career development and international travel programs for youth and professionals. I am back living in the states after 3 years of living in Egypt. After a 2 years of being back home I've decided to travel and prioritize living life for a bit while I work. I used Couchsurfing back in 2015 as I moved throughout Europe. I had an amazing time staying with host and found this site an extremely useful tool to meet great people while on my journey. Love to share travel stories, music, movies, art, fashion or even collaborate on solutions on how to improve the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently on a mission of self development and enlightenment. I am wanting to travel to Bangkok, Thailand (or a recommended area) and train in Muay Thai for a few months. I am wanting to arrive and study the city and local area before deciding where to stay for a longer term. I would love to meet a few local friends and gain some insight on the area. I am heavily allergic to nuts and understand that is going to be a challenge with eating in Thailand. I'd like to figure out how to navigate that with someone who is experienced. I have always found my couch surfing experience to be filled with cultural exchange and have made life long connections through this platform.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Musiscal genres are Rap, Indie Rock, and R&B . Jay Z and Kendrick are my go to choices. Sonically I can listen and vibe to all music but those are the artist I gravitate to when I have a choice. All time favorite movie is Bad Boyz II, the first Bad Boyz as a close 2nd, BLOW w/ Johnny Depp, Pursuit of Happiness, and the Grand Budapest Hotel. Favorite book is The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm hoping I've done something that was relatively amazing at some point by now but this trip and this documentary is a major mark in my life. The reality of dropping everything and deciding to begin to travel the world feels amazing everyday.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be willing to teach any and everything someone is curious to learn or know regarding American culture, food, music, social issues from a very neutral perspective. I'm intrigued to learn any and everything in the same way. I love different people and learning about what makes us all different. I'm the type of person that believes in collaboration and coming together so when it comes to sharing I willing to share any gems I have to offer and cannot wait to listen and absorb anything I learn along the way. As mentioned I lived in the Middle East for three years, visited a few other countries and lived and visited all over the United States so I'm open to exchange travel stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some what, I am very clean and can help with household responsibilities. I plan to be experiencing all that I can within the two weeks I'm in each country and and very open to including hosts with the day to day activities I have planned if interested.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Trinidad and Tobago
