I'm a student hailing from the deep dark north of England, in between courses at the moment. Beginning a post grad in London next year. Travelling to fill in the time before then.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting out with CS in the hope of enjoying each place I pass through just that little bit more as a result.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far stayed with 3 hosts across the U.S. Each one increasing my enjoyment of their city by at least 45.3 percent

Definitely hope to host in the future.

Right now I think i'm interested in the history of art. Museums and galleries are both fuel for my studies and my favourite entertainment. Last year I thought I was interested in the history of ancient Greece. Let's hope this latest change is the right one...I really can't aford much more education.

Other than that music is a big go-to for entertainment. Love the process of researching/listening to/discovering things that set my foot a-tapping. Worked in a record store back home all last year, but I promise I'm not any kind of music snob, just happy to listen and share.

If it exists, I straddle the fine line between 80's new wave and synth pop and roots and dub reggae, all the while refusing the dreaded term 'eclectic'. For Books I always fall back on science fiction and attempt to deny the dreaded term 'nerd'. For viewing pleasures, alas I'm still waiting for that elusive synth-reggae space opera, but in the meantime try to avoid those termed 'blockbuster'.
