About Me

CURRENT MISSION

save up some money to buy a little land to homestead on, to grow food on, and to live sustainable on. going to permaculture design that sucker!

ABOUT ME

I love travelling! And my favourite part of travelling is meeting new people! I love spending time with friends, old and new. I'd like to think I'm a deep-thinking person; I enjoy contemplating the nature of the universe, life, love and the human experience. I really enjoy learning about new ideas and mastering new skills.

PHILOSOPHY

I realize that you can't take your stuff with you; meaning when you're old and gray your money and posessions don't mean much - its the experiences you've had, the people you've met and the lives you touched that are important. I want to be the person I'd love to meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and learn about different cultures. I can't travel very much at the moment, so having travelers around is a pretty good alternative :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is free most of the time. I'm happy to hang out with out-of-towners or show them the city (Ottawa). I also enjoy contributing to household chores and to friendly conversation during my time surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much, but I do have quite a bit of WWOOFing experience (months). One of my best WWOOFing experiences was in New Zealand. I went down to oceanside cliffs with the host's 2 young boys and fished for dinner. We caught 5 or six fish and watched the sun set on the horizon. For dinner we had the fish and fresh veggies from the gargen and ate by candlelight, sharing stories and laughter. It was an incredible night.
