About Me
Greetings Earthlings I come in peace from a planet called Serbia. Yes it is more like a a planet than a country, because everything here is possible and at the same time impossible, which is cool and annoying at the same time but that is what makes it so special.
Personally I love living here and my life in Serbia by so far is great. I was born in Belgrade but for one period of my life I lived in a little town further down south, where my father originates from and because of that I can speak and understand Macedonian language, which many Serbian northlings can't handle with, hmmm lucky me.
For the past 9 years I have been living in the capital of Belgrade, where I finished my high school and my BA at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. During this time I played professionally basketball in couple of great teams, met a lot of interesting people, friends, fell in love, also at one point lived a whole semester in Lithuania, Vilnisu and etc. Furthermore I discovered passion for history, music, German language, beer and stand up comedy (jup I do from time to time some amateur stand up acts, planning to give it a shot in English at one point, we will see).
Currently I am on my masters and doing some international marketing analysis from time to time, more like a freelancer before I finish my masters. One of my passions is to find a job at the UN, mostly in the agencies that help people in developing poor countries to implement their start up ideas, deal with the entrepreneurial issues and overcome obstacles that lead them into poverty and hunger. By now I did a couple of international conferences and projects related to the previous topic. Thrust me it is really cool and sometimes hard at the same time but the feeling of helping unlucky people to chase their dreams and find happiness in lifes is priceless.
Every day I remind myself that even the biggest things in the world are made out of tinny atoms, without them nothing would ever exist, the same thing goes for the general small things in life and that we should enjoy and appreciate them the most, because that is what really counts in the end.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I absolutely love meeting new people from different countries, different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds, having fun, sharing food, drinks, talks about history, movies, philosophy and cracking a loooooot of jokes. In the end learning foreign language from new acquaintances makes it even better experience.
