I am a researcher and travel mostly for work. I was born and brought up in Rajasthan, India and have been staying in Delhi since 2007. I love traveling as it amazingly gives us new experience and also, you get to meet new people. I very much believe the in philosophy of 'karma' wherein you are bound to reap what you sow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It amazes me how people here help each other finding not only accommodation, but also help, a good company etc which otherwise you seldom get on a business/leisure trip. The support of people are just out of a common underlying cause, that is humanity. On couchsurfing you get to meet people, know their culture and also make friends for lifetime.

I love music of rock, country and classical genre. Mainly music featuring/ composed by AR Rahman (Hindi), Metallica, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi and Ennio Morricone (English).
Among movies, I love drama, motivational movies. I particularly love movies based on real life figures and historical events. There are many such as Schindler's list, Shwashank redemption, once upon a time in west and many more..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not particularly one, but I prefer to help whatever little I could and I believe I have been kept doing that with whatever little wherewithal I had at my disposal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I prefer to help in all chores what my hosts would be doing themselves. In Fact that's the way I feel comfortable being a guest. On a foreign soil, I would be sharing ready-made Indian delicacies or can cook Indian food :).
