About Me

Obviously, I love travelling - that's why we're all here!

I like to have fun and laugh and I'm pretty outgoing if it's warranted. A tasty drink in a cozy environment is way better than a party. I love to read and enjoy other readers. Hiking, being on the water, working out, and making people laugh.

A bit of a Buddhist - I call it Buddhist light which, on a personal level, means I enjoy meditation, am very accepting, have a calming nature, and strive to gain a richer understanding of the world around us. By no means do you need to be spiritual and I don't push my thoughts on others.

Oh, and I FU**ING love food - both the cooking part and especially the eating part.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a fantastic experience in Anchorage, AK. Hoping to do more!

Interests

I love exploring new cities but also hiking various landscapes. Pretty much addicted to any kind of travel!

Books, Movies, Adventure, board games... I can talk about most things though. I have a small background in a lot of subjects! Think LOTR, Harry Potter, some super hero-related stuff, science fiction, and the arts.

Music, Movies, and Books

A LOT (reading) - Fiction, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, ethics, some non-fiction about science.

Movies - Lucky Number Sleven, Mr. Brooks, LOTR, Zoolander, Super Troopers, action, epic adventure, comedies, suspense, superhero/comic book films, pretty much anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been lucky enough to have seen a decent chunk of the US. From Texas, living in Chicago. Snorkeling/sailing/kayaking the second largest barrier reef in the world in the Caribbean Sea. Major cities/landmarks: Golden Gate bridge, Willis (formerly known as Sears) Tower, Las Vegas strip, the Alamo and San Antonio river walk, Gateway Arch in St Louis, the French Quarter in New Orleans, lighthouses along the Oregon coast, the redwoods in northern Cali, the bats emerging from the Congress Ave bridge in Austin, milked cows in Wisconsin, enjoyed beaches and theme parks in Florida/Alabama.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico, United Kingdom, United States
