About Me
Hello! I'm a mid-twenties middle school teacher, as well as a bartender in my spare time. Very much love reading, writing, and traveling to meet cool people in this big, messy world. Hope we can have some good chats over coffee--your world, or mine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to build a network of 'friends for life' through meaningful encounters in the places I travel, and hope to return that favor anytime those friends are in the United States. Getting to know someone well, and someone who's really local, just makes traveling that much better.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: anything folk rock/folk acoustic, some hip-hop/R&B. Not too picky.
Books: anything written by Gabriel Garcia Márquez. 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' is just wonderful.
Movies: Anything made by Pixar. Also: 'Short Term Twelve' with Brie Larson and Rami Malek.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped deliver a historic, all-wood sailing yacht (ship) from Salem, Massachusetts to Key West, Florida!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to help people improve their English skills, and/or to tutor students! We can also talk about drinks/cocktails, traveling tips, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, photos, laughter, compassion.
