Overview
About Me
I went to college, I had a full-time job, and I paid rent. I was spinning along, heading toward accomplishments. Things were really stacking up. Until I decided to throw most of my belongings into a dumpster and begin wandering.
I've had my heart shattered like everyone else.
Interests
Hiking through the wilderness. Rock climbing. Not paying for food. Riding bicycles. Starting and stopping a coffee habit. Natural history. Sleeping outside. Swimming naked. Community. Trying to see through likes and see the common humanity in everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books
George Orwell, John Steinbeck, Henry Miller, E.E. Cummings, the poetry of John Peterson. Lately. I have read a lot of books about wanderers and losers, outcasts and outlaws. The people with uncompromising ethics and ideals. The ones who say no to death and yes to everything else.
Rolling Stones, Lou Reed, Nick Drake, Leadbelly, William Onyeabor, Brian Eno, the sweet voices of Motown, psychedelic cumbias, forgotten blues, or quite often just the sounds of the wind through the trees.
Cool Hand Luke, The Man Who Planted Trees, The Holy Mountain, El Topo, 2001: A Space Odyssey. I can't remember a lot of the movies I've watched.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a summer living inside of a cave in Tenaya Canyon, the Bermuda Triangle of Yosemite.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a lot of stories I can share from my journeys. I can cook a nice vegetarian meal and do all the dishes. I hug with tremendous kindness.
