About Me

I'm a recovering American with a passion for exploring new cultures, whether they are cultures from another country or subsets of people in the world I am familiar with. I have lived in Saigon for nearly 5 years and plan to spend a lot more of my life here because is freer and more vibrant than anywhere else I've been in the world.

I love meeting new people, and my favorite way to do that is through board games. In fact, I run a cultural exchange and board game club in Saigon that meets every Friday evening.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on here to abduct travelers and those who want to expand their Saigonese social circle into my fold of board game-playing culture hounds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mt. Popa is a mountain in Myanmar. An ancient temple is built on the mountain, hugging its sides and ascending along its slope. The temple is no longer populated by monks, though, but instead by throngs of friendly monkeys. Mt. Popa is the most amazing place I have ever been.
