About Me
Hi! I'm Dustin
I'm a Drummer and Music Producer.
I have a 5 year old pup named Rucker.
We both love to hike and enjoy time exploring new places.
Unfortunately, He most likely will not be along for the trips :/
I haven't had the means to travel much until now and I'm trying to enjoy it as much as possible.
I would describe myself as a compassionate, mellow fellow. I love making new friends and learning the history of wherever I end up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couch surfing to meet new friends and build a "Family" of sorts around the world.
Theres many things to see and it's much easier with a little guidance from a local friend. Whether that be just tips, or actually coming out exploring with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music- This is always a tough one because I love all kinds of music so much. Current Artists I cant get enough of include, Khruangbin, Hiatus Kaiyote, BADBADNOTGOOD, Frank Ocean, Thundercat, Anderson. Paak, Noname, Tom Misch, Lettuce, Nate Smith (the drummer), Chance the Rapper. I'm sure thats enough for now.... lol
Movies- I love silly comedies, Emotional dramas, and suspenseful thrillers. My favorite director is Christopher Nolan, Favorite film composer is Hanz Zimmer.
Books- My favorite book I've read so far has to be "The War of Art" by Steven Pressfield
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Performed along side Maroon 5 in the 53rd Super Bowl
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to be a percussion director for a local high school in my hometown of Newnan, Georgia.
Teaching music has always been a passion of mine. I believe everyone has untapped musical talent, its a part of being human. We are born out of rhythm and die when the beating stops. Music is an international language of joy and I hope to share that with whomever I encounter.
