ABOUT ME

I love living in Florida because of my love of the ocean as well as fresh water. I love to SCUBA dive, kayak, camp, backpack, cycle, swim, and really anything outdoors I'm willing to try. I have lived in Panama City since 1996 so I know the area fairly well and can guide fellow CS'ers on their journey and point out the hot spots of this area.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to Couch Surfing and would like to meet new people and learn about the things they like to do. I hope in the future to go on some hiking and diving trips and surf some couches. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Classic Rock, Jam Bands, Bluegrass, Jazz, Metal ... pretty much any music with a drummer, I can appreciate.Movies: Life Aquatic, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Super Troopers, What the Bleep do we know, ... and many more.Books: The Road to Reality by Rodger Penrose, Warped Passages by Lisa Randall, Deeper into diving by John Lippmann to name a few in my collection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Okinawa, Japan for four years.Watched the shuttle launch from the best perspective other than the astronauts. STS-119 March 15, 2009. Awesome is all I have to say. words can't describe the power or that machine.
