ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Dustin and I come from a large catholic family out of midwest america. Growing up with 11 siblings in the home brought several friends into the mix and made frequent exchange students a natural add-on. A warm hospitable house is what I can offer. I am a pubic speaker and independent filmmaker and I also serve locally as a coordinator of youth ministry.

In my spare time I enjoy watching film and finding solitude in the wildernesses of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite flicks are The Fountain and The Truman Show. I enjoy reading the Philokalia, Sacred Scriptures, and re-reading from my ever growing library.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have either lived in or visited 10 different countries on 5 different continents.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am in the life-long process of what is called Theosis through the practice of Hesychasm (stillness). With this life encompassing calling, I have acquired a knack for spiritual verbiage to do with the mystical life and am eager to share the wisdom of the fathers and mothers who have come before me.
