About Me

Friendly and big fan of the golden rule and paying things forward.

Busy with my current businesses (check out www.hongkongpubcrawl.com) and new projects, but trying my best to travel and take breaks from the daily grind to reinvigorate my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why not - free accommodation in exchange for making new friends, sharing ideas and having new, unique experiences.

I'd be silly NOT to be on Couchsurfing.

Interests

Doing what I want, when I want, without infringing on the freedoms of others.

A handful of the things that interest me are: DJing and music production, startups in the app/service industry, non-sequitur comedy, 2nd golden age of television series (Vikings, Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad, The Americans, House of Cards, etc), finding a way to never have to worry about money so that I can allow my passion to guide me wherever it may...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music & music production: currently into synthwave and vaporwave, but I'm always looking for new stuff or re-discovering old loves (including but not limited to disco funk, golden era hip hop, late 90s and early 2000s chill and downtempo.

Movies: EVERYTHING that isn't overly focus-grouped or audience tested. Currently into John Carpenter stuff.

Books: all over the map, but recently trying to give the old brain a rest and read more fiction. These days its been cyberpunk (Neal Stephenson, Gibson, Doctorow and Philip K Dick), comedic fantasy (Terry Practchett) and some historical-based fiction (Jams Clavell).
