About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To fufill my life with great memories, friends, and experiences. Life is temporary and we should all cherish what we have in front of us.
ABOUT ME
Originally from southern California, but currently reside in Boise, ID. I am a geriatric social worker here in Boise. I am here to learn and share with others. Life is too boring to sit around and be idle. There is so much beauty out there within nature and people that it almost seems silly to be complacent.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is something that should be explored, cherished and shared with others. Find what makes you happy and give it 100% and on the way, share your passion for life with others, it can only create a better place for everyone.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid across the line broadside, completely worn out, thoroughly used up, screaming WOW, What a ride!
Welcome people with hugs and a beer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined up because I wanted to meet up with people while I was doing a two month road trip around the United States. My experiences with CS that hosted me has been nothing short of amazing. They have treated me with respect and kindness. One of the gracious Boise hosts puts on a monthly potluck I enjoy attending. I surf, host, meet up and just enjoy every minute of it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfing, hosting, meeting up it does not matter. I love this community and the meaning behind it. Love, respect, enjoy all the possible moments we have with one another. Step out of your box and explore!
Interests
Riding a bike! I am a year round commuter. I also brew beer, watch movies, spend time at the downtown YMCA (I always have free passes if your interested), dabble in rock climbing (fractured my ankle a while back doing it, so I go with hesitancy) and cook. I enjoy reading about current events. I try and read. Reducing my carbon footprint via riding my bike to work, recycling and vermiculturing. I enjoy relaxing to classical, instrumental or Motown music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked around Europe for a month when I was 17.
Spent 2 months driving by myself around the United States in 2011.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can do a little cooking (Peanut Butter Chicken is my dish). I can show you the process of brewing beer. I got a hacky-sack we can play in the front and a set of frisbee golf disks we can play with in the park. There is a rock climbing gym I have been known to visit or if my partner is available, we can go sport climbing. I have an extra bike that you can use. Boise is a tremendous city for hiking. There are hundreds of trails a mile away from my house.
