CURRENT MISSION

Seeing cultures, meeting people, and trying new things have excited me for as long as I can remember. Evidently, since I am on this site, I am not one for traveling in luxury, but rather for experience.

ABOUT ME

I am thrill-seeking and open to nearly everything. Within reason, I will try almost anything and don't get embarrassed easily. Singing Karaoke to Tik Tok by Kesha in a Costa Rican bar? Check. I am very adaptable, and because of my background sometimes prefer the simple life. I grew up in a trailer park and consequently developed a sense of independence at an earlier age. I absolutely love languages and have dabbled in Hebrew, German, and Thai, though not proficiently enough to list them on this site. I am taking Chinese in school, and try to keep up my Spanish. I am an AVID snowboarder and love to play soccer. I like an occasional game of poker and usually prefer relaxing and watching movies to partying, but I've been known to get down as well. All in all, I want to see what the world has to offer and I realize that the future may start to present obstacles that would deprive me of traveling, so I want to seize the moment. I want to meet you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I am a college student, I am physically unable to offer a couch as my dorm room is barely big enough to accommodate myself, but I'm hoping to use this website to get in touch with people across the world as I travel that would allow me to experience more culturally than I would in an average hotel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent some time with a couple hosts in Rome, a wonderful couple in Germany, and a master chef in Amsterdam during my recent four week trip to Europe, and loved every second of it!

Interests

Music - Almost anything, I enjoy country, rock, hip hop, heavy metal, modern pop, and some techno. Pretty easygoing on the music preferences.

Movies - PULP FICTION, Dodgeball, Spaceballs, War of the Worlds, Silver Linings Playbook, Django, Inglorious Basterds, really almost any Quentin Tarantino movie

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summited Mount Chirripo, one of the tallest peaks in South America.

Had a pet tiger.

Helped a survivor enter Auschwitz for the first time since she'd left to face her past and remember those lost.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will teach you to solve a Rubik's Cube, juggle, and count in 10 languages. I will share the inordinate amount of experiences that I have for the age of 20, and I only ask for your ears to listen (and couch to sleep on).
