ABOUT ME
Well according to the individual to my left at the moment. I am....
A White boy from Oklahoma who speaks Chinese
Really weird (perhaps because when I dance I take on the form of gumby (http://www.multipet.com/images/gumby.JPG)
Reads a lot (sometimes more than for his own good)
Has a really big heart for people.
If I was to speak as to who I am, I would say that I am an individual who is obsessed with growth. Making myself a more rounded individual, trying to stay healthy and find ways to make my body stronger (because the body affects the mood and the mood affects the mind), open my views, improve the world around me, and challenge those that I love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In Norman, Oklahoma I hosted a good number of people visiting and traveling through. My surfing experiences have been few and far between, but I'm excited to take advantage of more surf/hosts!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Honestly, just meeting and helping out great people. Nothing more to say.
Interests
When the body is healthy, there is nothing I love more than running!!
I love to cook, especially spicy Chinese, Indian, and Thai food.
I've recently established an interest in fermenting foods, making things like apple wine, kimchi, and kombucha.
As my third party review said, I love to read. Who wouldn't want to stand on the shoulders of giants?
My biggest hobby is picking up hobbies. I love crafting and learning new skills.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Let me preface by saying that I am currently a medical student in San Francisco.
So one of the moments that left me absolutely speechless recently was watching a cesarean section. I mean one minute the baby was in the stomach of his mother. The next, he was in this world, crying and taking it all in. Who wouldn't be amazed????!!!???
Hmmmm..... Number two..... I recently hiked up to the top of a peak called BrokeOff mountain in Lassen Volcanic National Park. I was very surprised and "awestruck" to realize the peace that can be found at the top of a mountain. No sound, no influence, just you and your amazement. And occasionally another soul to share that experience with.
