I'm a traveling street performer originally from very-small-town Missouri. Home base for me the US is in New Orleans (that's where my trailer is anyway) but I'm constantly on the move looking for new crowds to entertain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Myself and a photographer from Missouri are making our way around the globe on a year long art project of sorts. He is going to photograph all of the National Ballets that he can between Australia and the thirty or so countries we'll pass through on our way to Europe. We will also be trading/collecting art from artists we meet to put into a show at the end of our journey in England. I will be doing my tricks to make ends meet as we go, writing and illustrating the tale of the adventure, and keeping the world up to date through social media. We are doing this on a shoestring budget so every little way we can save money is a blessing. That's where couchsurfing comes in...

Interests

I dabble in all things creative. Street performing is my passion but every medium offers a new opportunity to get something good out of myself. I draw incessantly and when I'm not drawing I'm thinking up new ways to see things. I love meeting anyone that has something to say worth hearing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess I'm a "classics" kind of guy all the way around. I like old Charlie Chaplin movies and anything "noir". My favorite anything is too hard to pick but as far as books go I am very fond of, "The Old Man and the Sea". "Cathedral" by Carver is the best story I've ever read and if you haven't you should stop now and read it. I'm deaf in one ear so music comes in a distant second in my life but I'd be a liar if I said I don't love me some Hank Williams... One, two, and three.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I talked to Mr. T on the phone when I was 12 years old. I know that may not be amazing to you but to a 12 year old boy it was.
