We are a married couple, together for a long time now! We live in the Netherlands but are happy when we are on the move. We like to travel and to meet other people, to learn, to share, to add some knowledge to our life.

We like the quiet places, not the tourist attractions. We love to make a fire at the beach, watch the stars, have contact... and more.....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think we participate by traveling to other countries and learn more about sharing the things we "own". Back in the Netherlands we are open for others, even without the couchsurfing website.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I never had a real experiance with surfing a couch. We met a few members from the couchsurfing in Nelson NZ, they were great and we had a nice meeting where al the things were shared........ opend the beer and talked with interesting people.
While I hitch-hiked trough europe I had some unexpected couches to sleep on. I've met some great "troubadours" in Geneve, they took me and my brother to all the bars and let us sleep in their house. Since our travels in Australia we met a lot of couchsurfers, people we stayed with and hosted us. It was a great time with all of them. Thank you so much!

Teach, Learn, Share

Jacobien is a social worker, she impelements interventions with people.
I am working with young people who suffer from their first psychose period, try to shape their lives with some help to find work or study.
We are married, have a strong relationship and passed a break....its great living this life together.
