About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living thoroughly with universalism.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Bogor and I have been raised by a Javanese family. However, I can't speak in these two languages since we use Bahasa Indonesia for daily conversation. Please don't expect I can speak these languages fluently.

On the other hand, I just don't know why people (almost) always think that I'm a student. Despite all this confusion, at least these words hopefully can describe who I am.

1. Easy to laugh
2. Impulsive
3. Curious

Currently, I can't host anyone for a moment until I can declutter my room. But I will definitely yes for hanging out on Friday-Saturday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I become a first-time couchsurfer when I was traveling to Natuna. Natuna is one of frontier islands in Indonesia. Luckily, I got two warmhearted hosts that helped me out to survive during my stay.

Eddy Lim, my very first host was so patient and quite responsive giving me A-Z information about Natuna even though, at the same time he was on his holiday. In the midst of confusion, I met Bang Muhtar who voluntarily picked me up, accompanied me to several beaches and brought me to his relatives' houses for an Eid visit.

Interests

I don't have any particular interest due to my random thoughts. But I think both writing and traveling have a strong connection to each other in describing what I like

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading but I don't have any ambition to read several books in a year. Lately, I think that economics, philosophy and psychology are utterly mind-blowing. Currently, I'm reading Capital in the 21st Century by Thomas Piketty and Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. I also like listening to some podcasts like WorkLife by Adam Grant and Rationally Speaking by Julia Galef.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried to ride a bike for having a dinner while I was traveling to Natuna. It was the most densely populated island in Riau Archipelago, but it seemed to be so quiet. Despite this condition, I couldn't manage my nerves when I should ride a bike for the first time without any assistance. I get used to some well-developed infrastructure cities like Bogor, Jakarta and Medan but I hadn't imagined to be in that kind of situation if I should have traveled to some remote areas. Even so, I nailed it. I'm totally proud of myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

Personally, I like learning and I expand my curiosity to make a living.
