About Me

I lived in Vietnam for 18 years and Japan for one year. I am currently studying in Minerva Schools, which allows me to travel to 7 different cities around the world and studying with the state-of-the-art technology. Now I am here in San Francisco, joyfully experiencing my educational path of learning, exploring, understanding and engaging. I am always eager to travel to new places, meet new people and understand what people think. In addition, I am willing to share my story about my college student's life in Minerva, Vietnamese traditions with delicious cuisines, and a wonderful year in Japan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in making connection and talking with people. As for having said, I travel for exploring, and there is no better way than truly live with the local and live like a local. Long story short, I am on Couchsurfing to fulfill my curiosity, building my network, explore the cities and share stories with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Japan, I went on an adventure without a secured shelter: booked a flight ticket and not reserved a hotel. In that journey, I fully enjoyed the whole city and was able to move freely to wherever I wanted. The only drawback was to struggle to find a shelter every night for 5 continuous days. Each night I slept in different places and consequently found out different alluring facilities in Osaka, for example, public bath. The adventure did drain my energy, but it also fulfilled my curiosity and empowered me with inspiration to do many more adventures like that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories with hosts: stories of my life in Hanoi, stories of my experience in Japan and my feeling as an adventurer- learner in Minerva Schools. At the end of the day, what is left after a Couchsurfing experience is a story, connection, and enthusiasm; I do not hesitate to share my stories and willing to listen to hosts' stories and ideas.
