Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, southern Vietnam. The thirst of traveling has been contributing to many of the decisions that I have made. I am now studying first year at Minerva in San Francisco, California. The dream of becoming a globetrotter is one of the main reasons that I chose Minerva and also, Couchsurfing. As part of Minerva’s program, I got an opportunity to travel to 7 cities in 4 years including San Francisco, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Seoul, Hyderabad, Taiwan, and London. If you are interested, please find out more here: https://goo.gl/rzFsqX.
I studied at VNU-HCM High School for the Gifted in Vietnam and now at Minerva, both are very selective. You can search them for yourself. This is to say that I am a creditable person. I live clean, and like cleanliness so don't worry if you should host me or I should host you!
Though I treasure cleanliness, I love dogs and cats (adorable ones of course). I used to have a golden retriever. Now, there are 2 cats and 2 dogs at my house in Vietnam.
I cook very well, or at least my friends all say so. I know some Vietnamese traditional dishes that I may cook it for you myself!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of my friends recommended me Couchsurfing and after researching I thought Couchsurfing would really help me an awful lot when traveling.
I also look forward to learning more about the regions that I am traveling to by learning from my hosts. I also hope that I will have the chance to hear the stories from surfers hosted by me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I usually like pop and classical music. I especially like the song Can't help falling in love by Elvis and the Four Seasons (classical).
I like The Great Gatsby, Inside Out, Thre Kingdoms (Chinese), Harry Potter, ...
About books, I have read the Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan and enjoyed it so much. I also read non-fiction books written by Malcolm Gladwell. I also finished the Percy Jackson series a few years ago.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent last summer traveling to the neighbor provinces of my city own my own motorbike. It was an amazing time. I once rode over 3 hours to get to the highest mountain (about 1km in height) in Southern Vietnam, climbed to the peak then climbed down within 8 hours and then took another 3-hour ride back home. The whole journey last in one day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't really know what I can teach you but I surely can teach you some Vietnamese sentences. Oh, I know how to cook, too. Maybe I can show you how to make some yummy Vietnamese dishes. If I am traveling with my friend, he can also teach you Aikido (a kind of self-protect martial arts).
