Overview
About Me
In social situations, I often play the role of the listener––I am genuinely interested in understanding what inspires, pains, and interests all of those I interact with. I can assure those that I meet that I will be open, understanding, and curious. I believe that everyone is entitled to define their identity, and I do my best to respect those choices.
By profession, I am an environmental lawyer currently living in Eugene, Oregon. I am constantly moving back and forth between my motivations to advocate on behalf of people and the natural world and my desire to experience the natural world outside of an office.
My philosophy: to be interesting, be interested.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would much rather build a connection with a human in the place that I am visiting than be isolated in a hotel.
My next planned trip is travel through Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia, beginning in March 2020 with my partner, Dan Hulse , https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/danhulse. We would like to couchsurf as much as possible during this trip.
