Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel the best way to experience a new place and respect for local customs is through the eyes of passionate local people rather than through a tourist brochure.

I wish to immerse myself in learning sharing and experiencing local cultures, practices and way of life with open hearted people connected to their life's purpose.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I volunteered for 3 weeks in the Northern Territory of Australia in Far North East Arnhem Land, at Garma Festival. Home of the Yolngu people. The festival is a celebration of the unbroken link to 40000 years of story, song lines, dance, custom, tradition, family structures, craft, care for the land, hunting practices and existence.
