ABOUT ME
I'm pretty easy-going, patient and easy to get along with. Studied Communications/Film mainly, but dabbled in other programs. My mom is Filipino and my dad is French Canadian. Traveled a few places and I've lived in Montréal my whole life. Love my city, but I sincerely regret not having lived elsewhere. Love meeting new people, have had roommates from France, Belgium, Italy, United States and Germany.
PHILOSOPHY
Open-mindedness, empathy and a sense of humour are all-important to me. I'd like to keep learning through new experiences, people and stories I encounter. I don't ever want to become so set in my ways that I close myself to new ideas. Being creative is a struggle I have a lot of trouble with, but I try to keep that part of me alive as much as I can.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted a few people so far and they were all pleasant experiences, but I hope to do some traveling and surfing myself soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Yes, my couches have hosted many people from abroad over the years, mostly friends of current or past roommates that I've had, often for weeks at a time, but that wasn't through CS. Now that I've hosted a few people who found me here I have only positive things to say and look forward to meeting more interesting people as either a host or surfer.
Intereses
Stories and people. Enjoy talking around a beer or meal, switching from the ridiculous to the serious without missing a beat. Routine can be tedious at times so always open to new experiences and people. Reading (fiction, comics), writing, history, culture, comedy, music (I'm the kind of person who might find a 1min sequence I love in a song and play it over and over...), film and TV series (I'll sometimes burn through a season of a show in a few days), hockey and religion(Was raised religious, but left that behind many years ago, yet religion itself is a fascinating topic for me).

Algo increíble que he hecho
I don't know if you can call it amazing, but it was special for me:) I walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain. I didn't do it for religious reasons although it is a Christian pilgrimage. The second time it was an attempt to shoot a documentary about it, but life got in the way and I didn't really get what I needed for the film. I've read that its popularity has now diminished it in someways, so that is unfortunate. It was quite an experience and I'd have a lot to say about that if people are interested.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I have a few nice recipes I can teach, some from roommates I've had from other countries, some from mom:) I would be happy to cook for you. Of course would be happy to help you practice your French or English!
