I like to study, recently its Physics, brewing and billiards.

Somehow, I'm at a place in life where I'm not sure I have one anymore, certainly not that fits here. Use it or lose it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surf and Host. I haven't hosted much recently though cause I live in a 4 bedroom house with 5 people, one of whom works graveyard shift a a donut bakery.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nagyon jó. Awesome. Bueno. Efaristo. When I lived in Budapest couchsurfing helped me meet people and learn Hungarian. When I left it helped me backpack throughout Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. When I ultimately settled in Eugene OR for a PhD, couchsurfers staying with me helped me find adventure in my new backyard. It's absolutely invaluable

Interests

Physics, The way of the Samurai, astronomy, Music (especially the blues), the beat poets (kerouac, but more so gary Snyder), George Orwell, bicycles and motorcycles, flying (did I mention I am a pilot), cooking, brewing beer, gardening, hiking.

I like lots of these, but I must admit I read less than I used to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I've got things to be proud of I think. One amazing thing thing I've seen: Dawn from the Teide Observatory, in the Canary Islands. It's crazy, when you need the dark to do your work you can really feel the sun slingshot back down around the Earth racing to come and blot out the stars again. But oh, when it does rocket up into view over the clouds and dust dirfting out from the Sahara over the Atlantic, it is beautiful.

Well, I know a bit about working on motorcycles, a bit about solar photovoltaic, a bit about flying, a bit about beer and brewing. We'll chat.
