About Me
Hello! I am Dwi from Indonesia 🙋🏻♀️
How to pronounce my name is like saying “do we” in English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meaningful connections, cultural exchange, authentic experiences.
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love the idea of building connections with people from all over the world. For me, traveling is not just about visiting places but also about making meaningful memories with locals. Couchsurfing allows me to experience a place through the eyes of the people who live there, and I believe these interactions create the most authentic and memorable trips. I also enjoy sharing my own culture and stories with others.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to any kind of music depending on my mood.
I don't like watching thriller movies.
I love reading comics, novels, and any inspiring books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first solo trip! I flew halfway across the world to New York from Bali without really fixed plan everything bet on my luck. I trusted my instincts, met incredible people along the way, and experienced the city like a local. It taught me that taking risks and going with the flow can lead to the best adventures!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m a graduate in fashion design, and I’d love to share my knowledge about fashion. Whether it’s choosing the right materials, identifying fitting issues, or learning how to sew and create patterns. I’m also happy to teach other aspects of fashion, though I admit that drawing is not my strongest suit 😅
I’m currently learning to cook and also working on improving my social skills. I’ve always been quite shy and introverted, but traveling and meeting new people through Couchsurfing has really helped me open up and become more comfortable in social settings. It’s been an amazing journey of personal growth!
Since 2018, I’ve been volunteering with the Kanaditya Community, a local charity in Bali. Most weekends, I visit children with cancer at Sanglah Hospital or help teach underprivileged kids at Lentera Anak Bali. I’m also passionate about rescuing stray kittens and finding them new homes through the Bali Cat Adoption.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Indonesian cooking, travel stories, help around the house.
I love connecting with new people and learning about their culture! As a guest, I’m clean, respectful, and easygoing. I can share stories about my travels, fashion design, and life in Indonesia. I also enjoy cooking, so I’d be happy to prepare an Indonesian meal for you if you’re interested! If you need help with anything around the house, I’m always willing to lend a hand. Most importantly, I offer good company and genuine conversations.
