About Me
Hi! I’m Dwi from Indonesia 🙋🏻♀️
You can pronounce my name like “do we” in English.
I believe travel is not just about places, but the people you meet and the meaningful connections you create along the way.
I usually plan my trips in advance, but I also love spontaneous plans and last-minute adventures. I enjoy exploring cities, nature, and staying active during my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travel is about connection.
Couchsurfing gives me the chance to experience places through locals, not just as a tourist. I love creating real memories, sharing cultures, and meeting people from different backgrounds.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first solo trip to the US 🗽
I randomly applied for a tourist visa and surprisingly it got approved. So I flew halfway across the world from Bali to New York with no fixed plan, just trusting my luck. I met amazing people, experienced the city like a local, and learned that sometimes taking risks and going with the flow leads to the best adventures.
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied fashion design, so I’d love to share my knowledge about fashion. Whether it’s choosing materials, spotting fitting issues, or sewing and pattern making.
I’m also currently learning how to cook and working on becoming more socially confident. I used to be quite shy and introverted, but traveling and Couchsurfing have really helped me open up.
Since 2018, I’ve been volunteering in Bali, visiting children with cancer and teaching underprivileged kids. I also love rescuing stray kittens and helping them find homes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m clean, respectful, and easygoing.
I love meaningful conversations, sharing travel stories, and learning about your culture. Also, I promise I’m good company 😄
