CURRENT MISSION

Mostly interested in hosting, however, I'm interested in traveling to other cities in the United States and possibly SAFE areas around the world. There are quite a few places I've been in the U.S., but there are still lots of places I want to see and experience.

ABOUT ME

I am retired and I am looking forward to traveling. Something I have always wanted to do but haven't had the time. I like bike-riding, walking, movies, board games, selling toys on eBay etc..... Having fun is priority! Don't drink except under very special occasions. I have grown up Baptist, and am still a strong believer. Though I don't attend church as often as I would like. I try to look for the good in everyone. It's really not hard to find. I recently lost two sisters. One whom I was legal guardian for 17 years. Her name is Lisa and she has Down's Syndrome. She died of Alzheimer's Disease December of 2010. She suffered so. My other sister, Darlene, died of a heart attack November of 2011. I miss my precious sisters so! I'm learning to live life in a way that would make them proud.

Golden Rule: Treat others the way you like to be treated. Love everyone and make sure they know it.

I've surfed and hosted. All were fantastic experiences. I enjoy meeting people and learning from them.

Interests

Health: After hiring a personal trainer at my gym, I purchased all the equipment needed for my recommended goals. So, I have my own personal gym in my garage. I work out with weights at least three times weekly in my garage. I walk at least two miles daily on a nature trail. Morning and evening exercises are also a part of my daily routine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy oldies! 70's are my favorite era. I like to read and watch movies that I can learn something from. However, I do enjoy watching Saturday morning cartoons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever seen is the Niagara Falls at night with the beautiful colored lights. Of course, being with Lisa made it all the more amazing. Traveling to the Mediterranean was a wonderful experience. So was Alaska! Alaska was amazingly beautiful! My 128-day Around the World trip was paused due to Covid-19. I did get 78 days of awesome experiences. Antarctica was even more beautiful than Alaska.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am looking forward to learning about the culture of other countries and states. I'm hoping by meeting people from different areas, I will be able to do just that. I have a garden in my yard. If you're interested, you might learn a bit about horticulture and botany here.
