ABOUT ME

I love animals, I have a small flock of chickens, a goat, dog and cat. The cat is a stray that we took in a few years ago and only got as far a kitty for a name. The dog we adopted about a year ago, our goat we bottle fed since the day she was born. She feels we are goats. I love my chickens and other animals. I love the water the sound is so peaceful, I have 2 kids one 17 the other 6, I have "successfully" homeschooled the 17 yr old ( I can say that because he is now in college) and am continuing to homeschool our 6 yr old. I like to travel, yet have'nt had many opprotunities to do so. I love to have company, I think it comes from growing up in the south. I try to help whenever, wherever and whomever I can. So we have a dad, mom, 2 kids, (3 if you count the goat) a papa, a dog, cat, goat, chickens, wild creatures that lerk about nightand day. We are non-smokers, non-drinkers, fun loving people.

PHILOSOPHY

I tend to live my life to benefit those that I love. I try to make lifes difficult paths a little less painful. I have a big heart and it is usually on my sleeve. I say what I mean and mean what I say. My words come from my heart, good or bad it is from my heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have thought about this for months, and am finally here to join the surfing. I have a friend who has hosted a number of surfers and I have been able to meet them. They have been fun to meet and hear their stories. I have room for 2 people and more room on the floor if need be. I might consider hosting a sufer gathering somewhere else. I am not sure in which other ways we might be able to participate. Only time can tell.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once a number of years ago, I was walking with a friend in a local park. I noticed that a man was stalking a woman who was walking in the park. I approached her and let her know what this young man was doing and we went to file a police report, she kinda knew him. Well she ended up coming home with me, my family always knew it was a matter of time before stray people would come home with me.

Interests

Family, friends, animals. Creativity is a big part of my life. I love movies. I love board/card games. Life is an unfinished book in which I live. No bungee jumping, sky diving.

Music, I don't know how I could really list anything here. Not into heavy metal is a good place to go.
