CURRENT MISSION
Find beauty in the world-- in nature, experiences, and people.
ABOUT ME
My educational background includes neuroscience, cognitive science, and computer science. I like having engaging conversations about science, tech, policy, and politics. I love to travel, and do anything and everything in nature-- run, cycle, hike, camp, backpack-- and all of them are better with other people!
PHILOSOPHY
"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." -Ghandi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the past I've surfed and hosted a fair amount. I have been off for several years due to the pandemic. Now that I'm back, I'm only participating in surfing because I'm now living with too many roommates to be able to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first started couchsurfing during a trip through Europe and absolutely loved the concept. Since then (excluding the pandemic), I've tried to incorporate couchsurfing into every one of my trips. As a surfer, I've seen what an incredible way it is to have a more holistic and organic traveling experience. As a host, I loved providing that for others and using the platform as a way to meet people with unique experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
gonna be extra and list many more than one:

Swam in the Amazon River with pink dolphins!
Cliff diving from 20 meters!
Ran a marathon!
Teach, Learn, Share
Always happy to share conversations about science, and teach about my culture, politics, and language. Happy for these conversations to happen over a meal, a run, or a hike :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd like to think I can share some good conversation! I'm also quite certain I'm a good house guest, and can share my respect for your space, time, and home :)
