I've surfed, hosted and participated in a lot of community events (local and abroad). :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled through Europe one summer almost exclusively using CS and had the most amazing time! I love the experience you get when staying with locals vs hostels or hotels. I want to offer the same locals look at Denver, which is why I like to host. Plus, it's great to meet new people.

Interests

Some of the stuff that I like to do... see concerts, ride my beach cruisers to the bars, snowboard in the winter and finish the day in the hot tub with a beer, host friends at my house and try new recipes out on them, discover new and interesting places, meet new and interesting people. And of course, Travel!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything that makes me laugh. But I also like to watch intriguing documentaries, thrillers, animation and the occasional gratuitous action movie.

Music: Kind of depends on the day and mood, but some stuff in my summer concert schedule for last summer included.... Dispatch, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Kings of Leon, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, John Butler Trio, Mumford and Sons, and Temper Trap. Right now I am in love with The Apache Relay!!!

Books: I am currently working my way through the New York Times 100 books you have to read list. So far I have been stuck on one book for 6 months. Little Women 1, Dyann 0. UPDATE: I made Little Women my bitch and finally finished it!!! Onto the next book.
